Dr. Rau enjoys making her scientific knowledge accessible to the public by engaging in and organizing outreach events. She also strongly believes in the societal benefits of connecting scientists to the public.

Indeed, since 2009 Dr. Rau passion for outreach has fueled up. The ignition element was the participation in the outreach school at the Planetarium of Rome on occasion of the 2009 "Year of Astronomy ". Since then, she has eagerly organized, been invited, and involved in dozens of outreach events.
